Novedades News, was founded in 1989 in Dallas, Texas. Our office is located south of Downtown Dallas in the beautiful Oak Cliff area, also known as the Heart of the Hispanic Community at 121 S. Zang Blvd. Dallas Texas 75208. We extended an invitation to our establishment which was bought in 1996.
Novedades News, is a standard broadsheet size paper, a well respected publication with 38,000 copies distributed throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth areas and reaching over 125,000 readers, each week, with dedication and true concern. Currently audited by: Certifified Audit of Circulations (CAC). We take great pride in providing our clientele with accurate and true circulation figures which ensures that your advertising dollars are well spent.
Novedades News is also the only news media that has current updated news from our homeland. The following states from Mexico are: Tamaulipas, Guanajuato, Nuevo Leon, San Luis Potosi, Durango and Michoacan, between others, also, Center and SouthAmerica. Novedades News is the only newspaper that counts with distribution centers in the following cities Laredo Texas, Nuevo Laredo and Monterrey Mexico; No other media surface focuses and is involved into our homelands like Novedades News.
Novedades News, is owned by Sergio A. Puerto (President & CEO) and past Treasurer of the National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP) and International Relations Director for five years, actually President of Periodicos Hispanos of Texas (Hispanic Newspapers of Texas, PHT).
Novedades News, is proud to organize special events and give to our Hispanic Community such as our most popular event "El Dia Del Nino","The Day of the Children", each year April 30th is a special day for our community they carry found memories throughout, their life. "El Dia Del Nino" is celebrated in Mexico, and now celebrated in our establishment each year with organizations, businesses and Novedades News in sponsoring and giving to our future youth, family, and friends.
Also "EL ROSTRO NOVEDADES" feauturing talented young ladies that compete to provide our community with substantial research information on social community issues as Teenagers School Desertion, Drogadiction, Pregnancy and Public Security.
Also the recognition to all the valuable and dedicated Journalists of Dallas FortWorth for their contribution to our community with the Annual "RICARDO FLORES MAGON" Award.

Our articles range from coverage on local events to affairs of true concern emanating from homelands within Mexico, including the states of Tamaulipas, Guanajuato, Nuevo Leon, San Luis Potosi, Durango, and Michoacan, where most of the Mexicans in this area come from and also Center and SouthAmerica.
